Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
Any company responsible for letting a property, seeking new tenants or selling a property, must have an EPC detailing the energy performance of the building and its mechanical services.
E Advantage are independent and accredited Energy Assessors authorised to review and issue EPCs. In doing so we not only provide an energy rating for a building but also provide a report which recommends how the energy performance and CO2 emissions could be improved together with an indication of the probable payback period.
Display Energy Certificates (DECs)
Public buildings are required to have a DEC which provides an energy rating of the building measured against a national scale. DECs are intended to raise public awareness of energy use and to inform visitors to public buildings about the energy use of that building.
Our energy assessment team issue DECs and do so accompanied by a valid advisory report which contains recommendations for improvements in energy management.
